Mac sounded like he knew it, too, and thought it was a bad idea from the beginning "I just want along with the majority here." I don't think he even said anything. Everything Speigel accused them of doing, he did himself.

That segment with those Boston guys was brutal. You could tell Mac was not pleased about it at all. He tried to ask for a restaurant suggestion in this meek little voice

Spiegel is just such a fuckstick. He came off 100x worse than the other guys did... Such thin skin.

The one thing that I did love about this whole scene was that Spiegs went out of his way to state that he wouldn't respond to their ploys. He then gives in, then is somewhat vague with his reasoning.
I do applaud Mac for his ability to not engage in the hissy fit.
