Why rely on Jay. Dan has said it himself many times. He is taking the summer off beginning in June. Maybe he will be back, maybe he won't.

If I'm his wife busting her hump every day at a law firm, I'd tell him to get his 50 year old rear end back into the broadcast chair by the kickoff of the college season.

Agreed...most women are saints for tolerating the shit we pull...but mac is probably a much more pleasant husband n father when he's off for 6 months n fishing n chilling out.

I could be wrong but MAC seems to have a good attitude about gambling , he's awful n he knows it...I don't ever hear him betting big..he probably loses 4-5 k yearly ..chump change for his bankroll .

The only thing that puzzles me is why would Mitch make him come in and convince him he is "OK" and then put him back on the air if he wasn't part of the long-term plan. That would be absurd from a business sense.

Yea. I love my job, but there are other things in life that I would enjoy doing on a daily basis. The key is to stay active & not sit around on your ass doing nothing. I could get used to traveling & playing Golf on a daily basis.
