I'm sure he has. I can't imagine any musician (or whatever) sitting down and not ever coming up with some original content... It comes organically from your practice. You practice practice practice and change chords and modes and things like that and certain patterns or things you like emerge, the need to experiment with adding or removing notes from progressions or chords or from scales and you're creating new ideas and sounds and yeah, you're making new content. I have new ideas in my head all the time when I'm sitting in front of some equipment I'm working on mindlessly or whatever.
I will say I've not heard any of his original work but I cannot imagine its not there.

I don't think a singer who can't play any instruments is a musician any more than a musician who can't sing is a singer.

Spiegel's sense of self seems to be remarkably over inflated. His comments about how he views his cover band were insufferable and pretentious.

Does Matt play any instruments? I cannot say I've hear him or seen him do so. I caught a couple shows too, maybe I was getting a beer while he was shredding.

I forgot that he was in Brother Brother with is...brother, so they probably played original stuff then. Unless they were also a "tribute" band.

Seen him on keyboard and cowbell

I like Speigs. I get why others find him condescending. I guess I appreciate his love of sports and baseball in particular. Since he seems to be treating Rozner poorly, I like him even more. Rozner is a preachy self centered SOB know it all.

And my DH is still coming late!

Did you hear that interview Denny? and then the subsequent dismissal of the golf talk? Grimace came off really prissy and arrogant in both.

No, I am working downtown in a remote office today, so I don't have my radio. Again, if he attacks Rozner I love it. Rozner is someone you think you like until you get a certain amount of his thoughts. I guarantee if he did a full time radio gig, most of you cats would hate him after a year. He is good only in small doses.

And I am not questioning his contacts or sports knowledge. It is usually his delivery and weak sense of humor that get me. I can't fault someone for having a different opinion than me, but when you tell me I'm an idiot for having an opinion, well then I have an issue with that.

No. He's awful in small doses too. I'd rather listen to a Boers and Mully show over a Roz show.

That's more of a comment on how awful and unlistenable Larry is than it is on the strength of the other hosts.

I think it's more of a comment on Darkside's inability to recognize how terrible Rozner is at radio.

Leary is just off my radar totally. he has reached the zone of no return, no longer even give him a chance.

Leary cant even chalk me up as someone who criticizes him. If I am driving home at night and I hear him squelch, I click 87.7.
