Biscuit could be part of the problem, mainly her work husband got in the way of a happy marriage.

Well, I'm sure she had something to do with it, but based on how he described his own life, if I did the same, I'd be divorced too.

I think you forgot a t. :P

I've written a song for you two...it's called Hot and Heavy.

She's probably thrilled to be screwing guys who aren't 400 pounds.

I wonder how those stats change for overweight singers with a thirst for alcohol? One would think that the odds of divorce are even greater. When your wife's nickname is a food stuff, the husband is probably a fat a$$.

If you have issues with your spouse you compromise prior to getting married. You don't wait until you get married and start making demands. Of course I have never been married.

Yes quite entertaining. If you don't make compromises once married, you won't be married long. Keep in mind it's a two way street. You may not like her shedding in the sink, clothes laying around, clubbing with her girlfriends, etc. Meaning, you may want some changes as well.

You're always making compromises. That wasn't my point. If you bowled on Tuesday's for the last 20 years of your life and your wife didn't complain about it prior to marriage you would naturally assume bowling on Tuesday's won't be a problem. If a month into marriage she told you to give it up you would object. I imagine Spiegs did the same stuff prior to marriage and his wife was fine with it. I don't think you wait until you get married to ask a person to change who they are.

I hate to bring this up - but did they get married because they "had to"? Insert emoji of shotgun wedding here...

You never have to. I was engaged for years and never felt the need to pull the trigger.

I just thought it was a metaphor for his radio show.

Personally, I'd say getting married changed our habits/behavior close to 0%. It's the moving in part that changed things. Then again, we dated for about 15 years before we got married so whatever.

There are days I wake up in a state best described in the song Once In A Lifetime.

How did I get here?
