It's Bulls talk early, and lots of love for Jordan's college basketball broadcast.

"The people around Derrick haven't been happy with some of the things I've said and we've talked about those things."

Nope. That didn't happen. Derrick's people don't know Goff exists.

New drinking game- every time Goff says "We gon' do this already?" in the faux irritated voice, take a drink. Drunk by lunch.

It's been decent today. Bruce did a nice job, and the Marty Bennett talk was interesting.

Edit: Oh crap, they just started doing the toma(y)to/toma(h)to debate with Fangio's last name. Yikes bad.

Goff once again used "nevertheless" in place of "much less." As in, "Jason Goff isn't suited to be a screaming hobo, nevertheless a radio host."

Anyone ever figure out what that musical drop is supposed to mean, or what it is? I've confirmed it's Goff's doing.

That one they play all the time. There's only one they ever play, and I've been unable to figure out what it is, or what it's supposed to signify.

If you mean the Latin-sounding one, it's a chart called "Bimbo Jet" - while it's name is unimportant, what is important is where you know it from, which is the song played in the Blue Oyster Bar from Police Academy ... my (I like to think pretty safe) presumption is they're using it to signify someone is a fruit ... similar to how playing the opening bars of "Ain't That a Kick In the Head" was used to indicate someone being racist.

Oh you mean the jingle from Police Academy? It's the music played in the gay bar, Blue Oyster Bar.

It's probably about as "subversive" as humor is going to get on the public airwaves anymore.

I think that every time they play the song. I don't think anything is allowed to be funny anymore, which begs the question why these guys laugh so much.

Jay-Z, you really should let this shit go. You have a nice hockey following. Work on that instead of hating on Goff.

Really sucks too because on air it appears that Goff tries to like you.
