There were about 5500 left out of about 11k there. Of course, the crowd was 90% Cub fans, so the 5500 were mostly folks like me on vacation who didn't have to go to work the next day.

Fun fact: Len and JD use Uber, they showed up at the dedicated waiting lot just as our ride showed up. We were so surprised to see them, that forgot to ask JD about his thoughts about Rusty Staub.

I call Bullshit on anyone saying they ENJOYED a 17 inning game when alcohol was stopped being served 10 innings ago.

People leave Dodger Stadium in the seventh inning. Maybe Dodgers games should only run seven innings. But then everyone would leave in the fifth to beat traffic; it's turtles all the way down. And from the looks of it, lots of people don't even show up to NBA games in the first place. I understand the symbiosis between the customers and the product, but come on, play 13 innings, say nobody won, and send everyone home? Leave that shit for spring training. 13 innings without an outcome is just a waste of everyone's time.
