Nothing much they just discussed his trade value with Hub..the consensus is he gets a 3rd round at best now. Most likely will be traded this offseason.

So what we've all known. Unless they get a crazy deal Howard is more valuable to the Bears this season on the roster, and when it comes time to actually try and have at least the shell of a draft class next year Howard will be the first guy they let go for a pick.

I would trade him now. By the end of this season you may not be able to get a 6th round pick for him.

Still has a good nose for the end zone and his improvements in the receiving game means he's not totally one-dimensional. Cohen is outshining him, but Cohen is also making a case for being a top 15 or so RB.

Billy Pootons, you just provided enough evidence to suggest that he’s making a case for being a Top 15 overall back. Well done, sir.

Well I went from "probably top 15" to "maybe even top 10" when I saw that sad-ass list.

Cohen's not close to top 15. He's good in the receiving RB role but even then he's not special at it. He's a good player. That's about it.

Howard has done nothing different this year. It's just that he only gets the ball 8 times a game and gets it on dumb fucking draws and sweeps half the time. He is not suited for this offense, but he would still be very good in some offenses.

He fits the playcalling a little better than Howard does in this system at least. Cohen is very fungible with others that play similar roles on other teams... a pass catching RB. Just watching him this last week, he tries to bounce everything outside and doesn't realize when he should cut things back.

Yup. He would be awesome the way the Pats were using Michel before he got hurt.

I'm a big fan of fungible because fungible is not really fungible with other words.

And when they bring him in the game, you know he is getting the ball, so he is getting less yards/carry. It is almost a self-defeating process the way they are using him. If someone was looking to trade for him, I agree his value is probably higher now than it would be at the end of the year given his current role on the team.

I use it to explain to my wife why she doesn't necessarily have to spend cash gifts on "things for her" because money is fungible, and she spends it on "things for her" all the time anyway.

Derrick Henry averages less yards per carry than a pile of bricks. Cook is a cripple and Carlos Hyde sucks. This list is horrible.

And the Pats do need a running back...

Cohen is not really a runningback, but if you had to clasify him that's what he would be.

He's a scat back but not even an elite one. Melvin Gordon is an elite version of Cohen

Last 3 contests he’s averaging 100 receiving yards per game. We’re witnessing the beginning of something insane here.
