Wasn't prepared to like Goff today but I have to say he did a great job. He meshed nicely with Spiegs. There was the obligatory race talk, but it was brief.

Six minutes into the thread and no Maggie/Gloopy post about the show being better because Mac isn't there? Where are you guys, in the shitter?

Jason with the shoutout to E-Town playground legend, Bernard Pointer. There was a guy from my time named Sid Pointer who has to be Bernard's uncle or maybe older brother. Sid was a hell of a player himself. Mason Park- Represent!

Goff is always entertatning to listen to. Brother should have his own show. Makes Larry sound like a fifth grader.

You got that right, Scooter. According to the 670thescore.com schedule, Goff's own show airs Saturday 12Noon-3:30p. If you like today & tomorrow's show with Goff on loan from "B & B" to sit in with Spiegs, check him out this weekend. He's very, very entertaining and puts a big smile on my face whenever 'SCR gives him an airshift.

+1 Scooter.

Did anyone catch Goff's statement about how "light-skinned brothers always feel like they have something to prove". Correct me if I'm wrong on Goff's quote. Larry was the first guy I thought of when he said that.

And another homerun! Look out Compton!

I've got to think Spiegs' "Hit & Run" co-host, the Daily Herald's Barry Rozner, fills in tomorrow on "The Mac Show", with LoHo covering the tabs the last 2 days this week, Johnny. Actually, Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch covers the tabs Friday in LoHo's time slot following "Boers & Bernstein". "Whip" builds a bridge to Ranger's "Lowe's Pregame" in advance of White Sox/Twins Friday night.

Yes. Rozner Wed and LoHo Thurs and Fri.

P.S. What are the "tabs"? Sounds like you are in radio.

Doesn't sound like a very sanitary hobby.

I wasn't for sure about this pairing, but today's show was outstanding and I am going to go as far as saying its the best single show I've heard on the radio in awhile. Congrats to you both. I'm bummed we won't get you two tomorrow doing it again. First time I've listened from start to finish in a long time to any sports talk show.

It's "radio death" tomorrow for sure, especially because the only sports on TV are the Triple "A" Baseball All-Star Game and the annual ESPY Awards with host Seth Meyers.
