The long awaited sequal to George Plimpton's legendary sports novel/movie about going through training camp with the Detriot Lions has finally been greenlighted. In the sequal, another middle aged sportswriter with an itch that needs scratching, heads down to Muncie, IN, for a season of towel whipping with his Ball State Cardinals. The humor of Animal House, the sentimentality of Rudy, the sexcapades of Porky's and the heart of Up The Academy come together for this soon to be fall time classic.
