A podcast studio is not a war zone so I don't find the comment about slaughtering or safe space bubbles or whatever to be all that germane. Don't you have to be a little nuts to be a professional football lineman? I've always wondered how those guys can just turn it off when their playing days are over. None of that is offered as a defense of Kreutz, but if you're some sort of media outlet, you might want to look long and hard at the ex-players you bring on.

Kreutz may very well be a psychopath, but violently attacking Adam Hoge is nevertheless likely a net positive for society.

If he is THAT institutionalized by his playing career which ended over a decade ago then he is truly unemployable.

Why do you think so many former pro athletes end up filing bankruptcy? Having spent some time around a college football program I can tell you that many of the guys playing college football there had no business being in college, the football secretaries wrote most of their papers, and they often dropped out as soon as their eligibility ran out.

Have a buddy that played and he has coached high school football and taught PE/Drivers ED ever sense, he was a success story, most of the dudes ended that actually were able to get jobs ended up being bouncers/security or personal trainers. The NFL guys like Olin made enough to be able to take jobs like he did as media types or as coaches because they have name recognition.

Olin working with media fakes, frauds, and phonies can't be easy. Mac wasn't shaking in his boots near him.

Buffone is beloved for this but he has always been beloved just for being awesome. Buffone is one guy who's stock didn't inflate after passing. Everyone genuinely loved Buffone even before he passed.
