"Alive" from Pearl Jam would be fitting.

we don't really sign off though so a closing theme???? got something in mind for the throw to terry and dan. totally willing to mix it up and see what feels best.

9:00 open, which also plays at 11:00, will be a different song everyday, then into thunderstruck. it meets all my needs... covers old farts like me and some of the kids like 'em as they still get air play and still tour. it's energetic.... it gets the show going in a fast direction. and after nine or 10 years... i'm kind of "branded" by it. people hear it at the cell and they think of the show. i'm good with that.

the 10:00 open, which also plays at noon, will be a different song every day, based on the content.... not decided on trailer bed yet... if we use one at all. we will discuss all this in our next production meeting, which is tomorrow morning before one last dry hump.

Playin' With The Boys (Top Gun voleyball scene background tune) would be a perfect song to hand the baton over to The Diddly.

Also, Mac, if you want to spray to all fields, start featuring on Fridays local bands who would otherwise never get airtime. I'm talking mostly garage and basement dudes with original material that doesn't suck. There are a few gents (no names) on this board who have a pretty solid arsenal. Dig up dead local bands - you don't need to go far for good music.

If you're going with a Rage song, you might want to try Bombtrack.

The first song should be "Rage against the machine" TESTIFY !! The Hawks used at home during the playoffs and got me and the crowd going and the word said "Testify" has a meaning coming out of the box. Plus Pants is a huge fan of Rage as well.

Sample of the song,

pizza_Place: Al's in North Riverside. Help me find one on the NW side. I've found good, not great.
Between me, Jay, and Meatpants, there will be some good music. Colonel Angus??? There's always room for Rage in my book. As far as Mac goes, he rocks pretty well. I may have to find stuff in his wheelhouse after 1990, but he'll get it. Matt- Is Meatpants still cool??? That was then, this is now.

September 2008 called. He wants his joke back. He says it wasn't funny then, and its not funny now. I had to explain to him that you are a tad dense and things must be dumbed down for you to understand. He laughed. Good times.

If you can do the same lame thing anytime someone dies I will bring this out just as well.
