Thus you find value in the book. It's a symbiotic relationship, to be sure.

Just sampled the book on Amazon and while this may be damning it with faint praise, I'll say this for it: It's WAY more interesting and entertaining than North's piece of crap.

Does he have a list of QBs better than Jay Cutler, and if so, does Kyle Orton hold the #1 spot?

The UPS guy just dropped off my copy an hour ago. So far it looks very "list-y".

I told Dan when he mentioned writing this book, that his previously mentioned "Dangerous tales" or whatever it was going to be titled, about the rise (and fall?) of Chicago sports radio, would be a far more interesting read. A book of lists? I just never found that to be very interesting. I have not seen a copy and doubt I will buy one, whether or not I am mentioned in it. It just doesn't strike me as something I would want to read. Now the behind the scenes stuff at the Score in the days when the radio station began and all the jealosy that grew amongst the staff, all the petty fights that took place....that would have been a book worth purchasing. I hope you find the time to get THAT book written. But I also hope that it's not because you have time off from radio again. I wish you good luck with the book Dan, it's just a book of lists is not my cup of tea.

I believe it was tentatively titled "Dangerous Talk" Steve.

So Steve is into unsubstantiated gossip instead of tedious, highly subjective lists. Big whoop.

It is also shocking that Mac would eschew The Brand's advice. Who would do that?

This is the first I heard of the book. Are there going to be any signings?

You don't see eschew used here as much any more. It was much more common two years ago.

But damn if it wasn't the perfect word, you know?
To avoid based on principle or moral value. Works.

A book of lists? This sounds like on-the-shitter reading material.

Not a knock.

Yet another reason why this board sucks.
