I can see his point, at least for day football games. I have no use for getting up any time before 10AM on a Saturday or Sunday, even if it is to drink, because chances are I was out until 4AM the night previous drinking, and need my beauty sleep.

I do enjoy afternoon tailgating at Sox games, however.

If I'm going to a game or get together or something, I won't drink the night before a game. If the Bears kickoff at noon though, generally I am useless with a terrific hangover until about halftime.

I took tailgating 101 my freshman year and did really well, so I understood it before I transferred to DePaul so maybe that explains my ability to understand it better than LoHolmes does????

Also, the women and parties at U of A blow away that at ASU! ASU, fake bitches in a city atmosphere, U of A, hot hot chicks hanging at pools all day, going to THE BEST PARTIES IN THE NATION! (Explained in some other thread)

I like it if it's warm and I'm not hung over. If it's cold or I'm hung over, keep it.

There is nothing abnormal about "tailgating". All it is is cooking before the game. Same as throwing a back yard party or any sort of party for that matter. I mean, does Larry consider grilling in your back yard with friends strange? Same thing. It's a way to eat and drink before the game for cheaper than what the stadium prices will gauge you for. It's really that simple.

Like I said, he says this cuz Bernstein says it. Because he's a mindless follower of whom he considers to be the God of sports talk radio.

I have no problem tailgating just for the food, but I'm fat.
