I don't think he needs ideas. He thinks Peyton Manning was benched.

Many QB's have a gun for an arm like Grossman & Lienart. Arm strength doesn't mean anything if accuracy is bad. Same goes for mechanics. I coached a 13 year old kid who could throw a football 60 yards in the air but couldn't hit the broadside of a barn from 20 yards. Lots of strong armed QB's are bad QB's.

You have still not given us one great QB who had a weak arm and bad mechanics. We are all waiting.

Rex had a great arm & pretty good mechanics except for his footwork. How did that work out for him?

Cutler is Mac's whipping boy, so the micro-scrutiny will continue.
Don't tell me about the offensive line's run blocking, when drive-killing penalties from linemen still remain at a premium and Cutler still has to scramble for his life.
That's like focusing on Cutler's passer rating and TDs and forgetting about his poor mechanics or INTs.

Yeah, thats true. Except for all of those fumbles and interceptions, he was great QB!

 his arm is weak. Bad argument bow out before it gets worse!

Doug Flutie, Heisman winner, CFL MVP and the prospect who ultimately cost Ditka his job.

Sometimes, you say things that are really dumb. I don't understand why he insists upon pitching battle on these locations. If he would have just said "I meant either a bad arm or bad mechanics..." he would have been fine. He can't do that now though because he's so dug in. Oh well, it provides for entertainment on a quiet Tuesday afternoon.

I would bet Lance Briggs has several good mechanics

I'm willing to assume the list of great college and Canadian Football League QBs with bad arms and bad mechanics is quite long.

Tommy Maddox won the XFL MVP.

Briggs was reffered to a towing company by Josh Hancock.

15 yard penalty on me for improper use of the English language. Definitely should have used "either " rather than "neither".

Joe Theismann would be my submission. Montana didn't have a really strong
arm that I remember but his mechanics must have been decent as he was
pretty accurate.

Cutler does have a lot of flaws in his game. It's working out great for him now but it will come back to bite him and the Bears. Hopefully it doesn't come at a bad time.

I forgot though. The Bears are winning games now so any critique of Lovie, Jerry, or Jay is no longer allowed.

I don't care, but just don't mention Lovie's lack of endorsements.
