Of the regular daytime hosts in a Royal Rumble, I'd put my money on Mulligan. He is just bigger... except for Spiegel... but I imagine he would slap and probably cry at some point. I would also imagine Boers to fight dirty and Bernstein to immediately threaten to contact his attorney.

I'm a Sox fan but I'm to the point now where as soon as I hear Farmer's voice, I turn the station. Brutal. Not only that but you have White Sox weekly and other baseball programs the Score is obligated to air. Chicago baseball blows and it's depressing as Hell to listen and talk about!

It's a testament to how monotonous Mac has become. Tasteless, commonplace, and hackneyed thoughts and opinions. It's middle-aged suburban dad radio. Light up the grill, listen to classic rock, do some yard work, and quote the same movies ad infinitum. He can't generate posts or reaction on this board like Beerstain.

Mac must accept he is second fiddle to Bernsie at the Score. It's fine. He has a nice paycheck. The tradeoff is loss of professional status. Most guys can live with that if the family is taken care off and you can generate a nice nest egg. But can Mac?

The show talks Chicago sports (and Packers during NFL) with being assholes. Something 670 needs to get back to.

That is exactly what McNeil has become. To call Mac contemporary would be like referring to Mike North as analytical. He was able to skate for a lot years I believe because he posted on this board. He was also able to skate because people were intrigued by a lot of the behind the scenes things. His show has gotten stale and the lack of action on this board is a reflection of this. Not so long ago Mac was no fire not any longer.
