To whom are they giving money? If Mac is gone they have an opening. Replace him with someone with talent from the outside and pair him with Spiegel. Leave Leery on nights and Jason in Atlanta.

How does it cost more money? Or am I missing something?

If, God forbid, Mac is gone, Mitch will probably move someone who is already under contract into Mac's slot instead of giving someone from outside entirely new paper.

If Mac is gone, hopefully Porky is gone also. I would either fire him or force him to weekend duty. I would re-do the whole time slot.

I would redo middays at least as far as knocking B&B back down to four hours. Spiegel should stay on board, though. Pairing with Rozner would be ideal except that it leaves a pretty big blind spot on football talk.
