Ok , I have to agree with you guys this fucking commerical thing is turning me off !! I 've listened to more of Slivy and Waddle in between commericals than I have Mac's show. This has to be addressed and segment the commericals shit out or cut bigger blocks like Stern used to when he was relivent. Block off 5 to 10 minutes an hour, run you're spots and do a 50 minute in an hour show.

Mac's shows at 1000 flowed as they either had shorter spots and didn't promo the fuck out of other shows. Cut the updates to 1 time an hour or not at all.I do need updates unless it's breaking news.
Great point, in this day and age,i dont need a"repeat" of the same thing every half hour..........

The commercials are really killing the 'flow.' You can tell they are nervous to get in to certain topics so they don't run in to the clock.

Can't blame them for paying the bills, but there has to be a better way. This is brutal.

Even with all the commercials I still am having a good listen.
They sound comfortable together and play well off each other.
Meatpants is gonna draw some fire and for good reasons not for being a moron like one of Dan's old partners.
Mac we gonna still have cooking tips?

Agree -- that and "1-800 Kars 4 Kids" force me to punch the button.

The 20 minute set commercial schedule at ESPN is why I started listening to the mouse rather than the SCORE when I started listening to sports radio around 2002.

SCORE drove me away with their commercials...especially the my guy ones

wait, what? I'm not listening, is he really saying that Kobe is better than Jordan? If he is, that's all I would ever need to know about that idiot. :x

There sure as shit is. Is this normal for Score shows?

Actually, it's not too bad for a WSCR broadcast--the Score is like one of those free entertainment weeklies around town that has a few album reviews/show write ups/recommendations for shit to do last month interspersed among a metric-fuck-ton of ads. Keep listening, you get used to it and learn to tune out the ads.

The complete podcast minus ads for this 4 hour show could be burned to one cd--and have room left for Freebird.

Got to hear the 1st hour, and was not impressed, but it was only the 1st hour. Getting ready to listen to hour 4 now. Gotta be better than the 1st.

=-=-=-=
He specifically said he isn't a better winner, player, etc...

His argument was, now that he has added these 2 things to his resume, you can at least put Kobe in the conversation with MJ. Meat made it pretty clear he wasn't saying Kobe is better... it was just more about how great Kobe actually is.

What's up with the crappy Photoshop work on the Score's website?

Yeah, the commercials used to make me turn on Kathy and Judy (now they're off the air).

At least B&B start at 1 PM.

mac had generally nice things to say about Murph. he confirmed murph was choking up at the end of his show, which explains why he ended it so abrubtly.

Mac & Matt offering paens to the Murph audience tuning in at 12 was disgusting. Mac did nothing to stand up to Terry B-O-R-E-S.

Who you crappin' Danny Mac?

hey, joe's crab shack gets a product placement/embedded ad.

apparently, they are trying to pay the spieg's entire salary in one day's worth of ads.

Jordan's a bit taller than Jurko, who looks great dressed up as a hot chick for the NBA all-star weekend:
