Question: Is it ok to find someone's MySpace page and post the link on a message board like this? When clicking, the first thing anyone will see are public pictures and links to public pictures and videos which to some "cross the line". The difference is a mouse click.

NSJ, I see what you are saying,but.... There is more than enough info here for
anyone that wants to see that picture, to make a few clicks and to make that
happen. I did, as I was curious what I had missed. I have no idea what
kind of traffic this site or this thread for that matter will get but there
just seems to be a little difference in posting the photo here, and seeking out the
photo on your own, if that is what you want to do. Just my point of
view.

This is my point exactly. I didn't have to seek out the photo. I saw it by clicking on a link to a myspace page that was posted on this board. That's why I ask the question: Is it acceptable to post links to myspace pages on message boards like this?

There wasn't much outrage when a link was posted to Steve's page when it was obvious that it
was a public profile. If one were to post a link to his wife's page, I personally don't think that is
right. It is quite easy to find her from his page though.

Apparently his pimp hand was an email adress and he was able to build himself (yet again) up thru the relative anonymity of the interwebs. Not that there's anything wrong with meeting somebody online (friend or significant other, especially in this day and age. Full diclosure, I breifly dated a girl I met online), but really Steve, who in god's name are you crapping when you talk about other guys' girlfriends/wives?

This is complete BULLSHIT. I have a profile on MySpace that people could find a link to. I never posted any Facebook link and there was never any link to my wife's Facebook profile listed anywhere. You have to be accepted as someones friend to even get into a persons profile-they are NOT public. I have nothing to hide, I love my wife and am ashamed of nothing, but you are a creep for the manner in which you continue to post information so as to try to create some kind of a problem for me. Then you want to deny what a creep you are. Really pathetic. If you mean to be an ASSHOLE (which is clearly your intent here) you might as well at least stand up and take the heat that comes with the conduct.
