Actually personally he was a pretty nice guy. Its just that he completely ruined the product. Its well documented that I listened to the station from 8 - 6, but now I don't at all. Again, I'm the minority of the average radio consumer, but they did lose me.

Didn't they lose you two because Mac left? And I thought WR changed his listening habits more than anything and never went back because of the Mike & Mike type espnification.

I hated M&M. I was a listener of ESPN (S&W) after Mac left.
I stopped listening to SW about a couple weeks into mac's new gig. it was too... gimmickey. My wife or my radio partner? Gay. Real gay.
Never tuned into the new saloon once.
I left because the programming sucks not because Mac left.

I gave B&B a chance when Mac left, but I stuck with Silvaddle from then on. I gave Mac a chance when he started, but still flipped to W&S at times. Now, my radio is on the Score.

I still listen to the Saloon, but thats because I don't like B&B at all.

You left because you'd rather listen to Mac over what ESPN has to offer and the 3-7 show is not as good without him. That's what I'm saying.

No, because Harry stayed.

well sorta.
I'd also rather listen to Elmhurst Steve teach a racial sensitivity class than what ESPN has to offer. Doesn't mean either product is worth a crap.

Darkside and I are on the exact same page.
S&W has become so gimmickey. Waddle is just tot Mike and Mike friendly.
Bottom line Spaulding, the Score has better programming throughout the entire day. That's why I left.

Mac, you pompous dickbag. I liked your show in its original form, it was called Coppock on sports! Did you swallow when you blew Dale Bowman? Nothing makes me turn the dial faster than hearing your show is coming up next.

Some of it is gimmickey. I used to like the would you rather or wife/radio partner...It's thin for me now. But I do like that this show has structure to it. Mac show tends to meander and the pairing could not be worse imo. I thik DS has responded to this before so let me ask you. What do you like about this show or is it just a better alternative?

B&B is just as bad as CJH but in a different way. I don't listen to either show very often. That SVP hour and transition has to kill ESPN though.

I left b/c B&B is better than CJH...I listened to Waddle and Silvy until Mac started, not that I listen to much day radio anyway. Mike and Mike were already on my nerves, so it wasn't much of a stretch to switch to Mully and Hanley.
There was a good 6 months of Macless radio for everyone to adjust.

Would I have switched entirely if Mac stayed at ESPN? Probably not, but the morning show would have still changed to M&H.
