No, I didn't take it as related Bryan. Both Mac and Goff have posted here, and both have made fun of all us on air before. I don't know how that can be a shot at Mac unless it was an internal shot as well.

JORR, I'm not suggesting your or Beardown are crazy. But you can't advocate following Beardown's theories and applying Occam's Razor. 99% of the time they are mutually exclusive. This isn't one of the other 1% of the times.

Are you serious?

Goff doesnt make a habit of mentioning message boards. Then days after the Mac thing, he brings up "getting his news from a message board" (EXACTLY what happened in the Mac situation)

Really?

And Beardown is right more often than he's wrong. Too many here dismiss him.

Im not seeing what you are. I still think that's an incredible reach to think he was talking about Mac.

Agree to disagree on Beardown.

So you think he was sincere? Simply stating that his source for news is message boards? No way. That was a shot and it wasn't even really veiled. He was referring to Mac believing Berdown's truth instead of Jason's lies. Obviously, Mac didn't want to get his news from a message board. That's why he came to Jason and asked him about it. Jason didn't like how it was done and referenced that fact on Twitter. I'm sure you can find it unless he's deleted it from his timeline. As long as he hasn't blocked you. But he couldn't get the straight dope from Jason. Jason tried to "lawyer up." "Did you hear me say that?" I think that made Mac angrier than the original statement. And that's purely my opinion, as educated as it might be after listening to Mac for lo these many years.

Even what Kid Cairo posted about Matt and Goff responding to Beardown and nobody else would qualify wouldnt it?

Yeah, I would bet a year's salary that it was a shot at Mac.

Agree to disagree on both.

He wasn't even right this time.

I tend to agree with this. Dan has been looking to make this move since before he came to the Score. He was open about it...and I say this as generally a Beardown guy.

Let's see if you can debunk 1 of them. I only see 1 that could be questioned.

I'm still working on it.

I'll put on a pot of coffee.

Then so is jealousy of chas and cgs.

I don't quantify my quality of life by how often I can troll a radio host into responding to me on a message board. Sorry.

Oh and there is also a guy here who has bragged about getting acknowledged by a radio host....which happens to Beardown frequently

That says nothing about people being envious of Beardown. It criticizes Matt and Jason.

I believe all of the non-trolls on here feel the same way. At least I'd hope so.

The timing might have been intentional but this has been in the works for a while. I have a feeling during Dan's extended leave he thought about the advisability of having someone under his control as his/Spiegal's replacement. This ensures that he does not get someone looking to take his job and also provides some consistency of content.

I got acknowleged a long time ago by North that Fred doesn't like me. That was crushing.

I'm mentioned at least 16 times in one T. Rex song.

I know you're talking to gd, but for the record, the reason I say Beardown isn't even right this time, is because Beardown thinks the DaMaNa stuff was malicious. I say it was ball busting fun. So Beardown's premise is entirely wrong.

That said, it is certainly no coincidence that this move happened.

But you keep dancing around the FACT that Jason got all shy and nervous when Mac asked him about the ball-busting fun. Why not just say, "Hey man, just breking balls, partner. It's what guy friends do."? I'll tell you what it wasn't good nature at all. How about if I start posting Keeping Score every time someone mentions a criminal act? Would you find that good-natured ball-busting?
