Did you guys know Chris got carded?
I look back there pretty early in the game, and he's pulling out his wallet showing his license. And they I think she was giving him a hard time because I thought I could read him saying "Yeah, that is me."
You are correct sir. She politely informed me she takes it upon herself to card everyone under the age of 30 (I think by everyone she meant everyone but you, Frank and Crosscheck, who is younger than me).
I do have a shaved head in my license photo so I think that is what threw her off for a second. She then noticed my wedding ring which I guess was proof enough that I was at least 21, and we proceeded to talk about how I could help her 37 year old son get hitched. I encouraged her to 'look around' and take in the sausage fest that was that box, and let her know I wasn't going to be any help in that area.
Thanks to Mitch, Mac, Doug and everyone else in attendance for making it a tremendous day. Everyone was extremely generous, and made us feel right at home. Also great to see Paula, Drinky, Chris and host of others including of course, Meatpants (dude is a real cool guy).
For those who haven't had the honor, I highly recommend throwing back a few with Stu-Gotz. The man has some tremendous stories and a few good life lessons as well, including how to push Mac to the limit. Although, IMO, Mac did end up with the upper hand with the "hillbilly" comment as Stu tried to leave the suite while continuing to finish his beer.
