They are VERY Derrick Rose intensive today. |

Parkins professes his sincere love and adoration for D-Rose. Says it bothers him that people here hate him. I don't hate him - I'm just glad he's New York's problem now. |

Parkins said he's take PEDs if it would make him better at his job and a caller went off on him saying he has no integrity, etc., and he has no respect for him. |

Did I just randomly tune in to hear Parkins dickishly dismiss a listener shit b/c said listener stated he believed that integrity is more important than fame/money? |

Derrick put up 30 points, 10 boards, and 5 dimes last night. Why does Spiegel think this thing gets worse? He's going to make a lot of money this summer. |

Parkins called Derrick rose a "top-5, maybe top-3 Bulls player of all time". If that is the extent of his basketball analytical ability, they will be well suited to stick to football and baseball. My God, is that a horrendous thought. Here is where Derrick Rose ranks in some choice statistics [Minimum 20 MPG, 200+ Games]: Win Shares: 22nd VORP: 12th Points: 10th Assists: 5th Steals: 18th PP36: 8th AP36: 2nd STLP36: 34th WS/48: 23rd TS%: 30th Rose isn't even in the team photo for Top-5. MAYBE considered for Top-15 Bulls of all-time. |

To say top three would be to say Rose is better than everyone who ever played for the Bulls except Jordan and Pippen. He was really good here but I can't get on board with that one. |

It's weird that a SJW like Parkins would be a fan of a sexually predator like Derrick Rose |

Rodman would've made him cry right there on the court during a game harder than Jordan would've at practice ... not to mention that Van Lier was more 'gangster' than Rose ever might've pretended to be. That's not top 3, 5, whatever. It's an odd position that Parkins decided to take ... there's no reasonable way to support it either through stats/metrics or meatballism. Maybe he adopted it purely to attract attention, both good and bad ... in which case it's a decent first go at it. |

It should be noted that Rose's MVP season, he was probably one of the "Worst" MVP winners ever. He was the best player on the best regular season team(thanks to an Upstart Thibs and his dynamic defense) |

Good luck trying to win an MVP in today's NBA with 25 PPG, 4APG and 7 RPG, great season, but in addition to Lebron and Steph you also go Westbrook pitching a triple double stat line now |

Let me name the Bulls with a better career than Rose while wearing a Chicago jersey: Jalen Rose Tom Boerwinkle Bob Love Dennis Rodman Chet Walker Norm Van Lier Jerry Sloan Elton Brand Luol Deng Artis Gilmore....I'm sure others can add some more |

For this new guy to make that statement shows he is out of touch with history. He's one of those "I didn't see it,so it doesn't count for shit" kinda guys. |

I didn't hear the conversation, but you could easily make the argument that Rose was the third best Bull ever at one given time (his MVP season). If you're talking entire career, then no... but they're two different discussions. |

That's irrelevant to my point unless you think there are other individual seasons outside of Jordan and Pippen that Bulls players have had that are better than Rose's MVP season. The "MVP" part of it has nothing to do with it. My point is that - in a single year - you could make the argument that Rose was the third best Bull ever. You just couldn't make the argument (or even come close) if you're talking about an entire career. |

Otherwise, we can sit around saying things like at one given time Kerry Wood was the greatest Cubs pitcher ever, or at one given time BigFan was the bored's greatest admin. |

Carlos Boozer missed the first 23 games that year and Joakim Noah missed 30 games from mid-December to mid-February. Keith Bogans was the starting SG all year. He averaged 4.4 points per game! |

Rose's contributions, Thib's nasty defense and a shitty Eastern Conference won them 62 games |

Jimmy Butler is having the same year Rose had in 2010(with better defense). Jimmy won't sniff an MVP vote. My goodness what could be the difference, oh that's right, the East is kind of tougher now(and the coach sucks). |
