Cant tell if it's because Spiegel is so bad, or what but I don't hate what I've heard so far.

I agree he's fine.

It's all just different which makes it seem bad, and it's bad because it can't be the kind of good it used to be because you can't say 'gay' or make dick jokes on the radio or else people incinerate somewhere or something.

Now you compound that with the programming choice to slip in and out (hey buddy) of social issues that sometimes can be tied to sports and sometimes don't mean shit to a tree in regards to sports, it becomes a stew of schlock that, out of habit, a lot of people will still take the time to pick at a bit here and there hoping to find a tasty morsel of meat (hey buddy) and either eventually folks will acquiesce to this new 'new' as they did the old 'new' or they'll quit listening or we'll all die because of the flaming fuckwagons in charge of this country.

Now go away; I'm eating my dinner and watching the shitty Bulls pantsless.

... that's the best unsolicited rant I could come up with off the cuff at the moment ...

He sounds better than the mouth breathing IMS grads the Score has tried foisting on us in the past. Shit, he sounds more polished than Spiegel. Which isn't a high bar to cross I admit.

The chemistry so far has been terrible. I like that Parkins is honest. Saying he would overlook a guys past if it helped him win as a GM. DiCaro had to go to her safe space while this conversation was happening.

Parkindale is solid. Just compare him to what's out there. The problem is he has to deal with Spiegel, who has to be the most feminine, low t, beta cuck I've ever heard. Spiegel spends half the show talking about conflict and feelings and being "real." Join a fucking women's book club and get off the radio.

He is good. It will be really interesting to hear him with a fill-in host.

Anyone who puts a deep fryer on their registry is accepting that they will give up caring once married.

Anyone think it's kind of ballsy to put a $380 wine chiller on the list? I mean the most we give immediate family is $200...$100 for distant relatives/friend weddings.

They can buy it at a discount at the end. Also sometimes people pool money and get it.

I don't understand how wine stays around any home for more than a couple days.

I remember doing the registry for the wedding. We went around, tagging stuff we needed and that seemed reasonable. Brought it home and our folks were like, you gotta put some nice stuff on that list too as some people might want to spend more or whatever. Went back and put some silver stuff and crystal bs because we had to do that. Pretty sure most people that decided to spend that kind of money just gave us cash although somewhere in storage I have a nice crystal decanter and glass set for all that Scotch I was drinking as a 25 year old.

This was how we wound up getting the $250 knife set we registered for. Put it on the list to get the 20% off after the wedding, then my wife's aunt/uncle and cousins pooled together and bought it.

People go in on gifts. I was taught pay for my plate and the people I bring with me so we've given that much plus some for weddings.

These two just did 20 straight minutes on politics, it wasn't good. I'm pretty confident they just lost 25% of their audience and they won't be coming back.

I can't believe Spiegs is weighing in on this stuff. "Trump is hoping the ACLU runs out of money!" Wow with hot takes like that I bet he gets a call from CNN.

Nothing is more boring than on the air politics when both hosts are lock step on the issues. Jesus, is Mitch asleep at the wheel here?

Spiegel shouldn't comment on anything that people get emotional about. The odds are that he will wind up in a heap of tears while talking about how he was "justified" with the "tough conversation."

And coming up- child rape, concussion talk, and the best Super Bowl commercials of all time. We have a great afternoon planned for the show.

These types of people are also responsible for the absolute hatred of "libtards" by some because they speak as though what they are saying is fact rather than opinion...

"Clearly, the whole thing is disgusting..."

I'd bring in Mike North for some "crossfire" political talk.
