Parkins is positively giddy that the "Stick to Sports" crowd will have a difficult time avoiding the mixing of politics and sports given what happened over the weekend. He seems to be taunting people who want sports without the interjection of politics or social commentary.

I will definitely give Kap a listen for part of the day today.

I generally like Parkins but has some Bernstein-esque tendencies I'm not a fan of.

This is one of the moments and days that mixing politics and sports makes sense. If they didn't do it all the fucking time already, no one would care. The fact that we have to listen to 8 hours of spiking the ball is what is driving ears away today :lol: :lol:

I had high hopes for Parkins. He started out great and still is better than anyone else at the station but I'm starting to feel like he's walking down the BernStine path and that is a bad thing.

I said something yesterday on twitter. Don't think he liked it, but he has been responding to me on there.

Harkins is morphing into Bernstein a little more everyday...

Parking taking a shot at Kaplan, saying he thinks it "says a lot" about people in their business who want to stick to sports today.

He's right, but it probably says a lot about people in their business that don't stick to sports most other days.

parkins was really condescending to miller's bad bears take on glennon... you could tell it angered miller (based on his how many years have you coached comment retort)

@TheKaepman
@MarcusCooper If you get up every single day and you love what you're about to embark on, the days don't get long. You don't get tired and slow up at the 5 yard line. #FinishThePlaySparkles

@TheKaepman
I'm going to continue to stand with the people who love the process.

I think Parkins is really overestimating how important his "voice" is.

I listened to Kaps show today and enjoyed it immensely despite the omission of very important radio. Weird .

Well, Kap didn't mention his special needs son asking if they're coming for him, no.
