Yup. That's the best trait the show has going for it, especially when juxtaposed with the afternoon show.
You guys sum it up perfectly. I too am starting to think that Parkins is the best host on the Score. He has good thoughts, thinks and talks fast, and has a deprecating sense of humor that shows that he is somewhat grounded. He has a lot of Bernstein in him without being pompous or an asshat like Bernstein.
Parkins said something a couple days ago that nearly sounded as if it was a veiled shot at B&G. About not taking themselves too seriously and wanting to have fun with the show. It was when he was predicting that he'd be Spiegels's longest-lasting partner.
What I have noticed is that even when a segment is bad, it doesn't piss me off of make me STFB. I just FF to the next segment.
