I can't understand at least half of what this guy is saying.

He's kind of Ditka-like in his "In my day..." and "If someone did that to me I would have kicked his ass..." comments. That might all be true, but that's who he often reminds me of.

Good stories of Charles Haley's kid punching people in the nuts when they go to shake his hand.

I caught some of that on a replay last week. The legend of Haley is great.

I didn’t hear last week, but that was really bad radio today. I finally PTFB.

He tells a lot of stories from when he played (putting dirt on his mouth guard to show he was crazy), and the hosts had a hard time reeling him in today. I don’t know who would care that he’s going to be on the sideline for the ACC championship, nor that he will wear the ridiculously overhyped “turnover chain.”

I do, however, think he was a badass and that cornerbacks probably didn’t mess with him.

I thought maybe he was on a speakerphone? Big Cat Williams also uses the speakerphone in his car, which sounds like crap.

They ask him specifically for old stories, that does make it hard to reel him in.

Can't stand him. Adds nothing to the show. Always PTFB when he's on. Glad others feel the same.

Is that why he sounds so terrible? I can't understand a good portion of what he's saying, either. I just thought he had a voice like Wild Bill (a caller from the HFC days). It's too bad they can't ask him not to do that.

Irvin sucks out loud.

That said, Parkins has become my favorite host. Has anyone else noticed that he has somehow done what no other host has and made Spiegel feel comfortable? All of Spiegel's problems are from his own insecurity, but it seems like Parkins has allowed him to relax and be himself...... and Spiegel's not terrible when he's not being a snotty diva.

But yeah, they need to drop Irvin. I'm not even sure what the point of him is supposed to be.

He's fine once a week. It makes for a good variety of guests.

Jules is not happy they talk to Irvin. I’m doubting this conversation happened at all.

Wow, so she went to the PD to try to get a big name guest off a show she's not even on...as an update anchor and part-time night host?

Or, perhaps even worse, what if Mitch went to her?

Parkins will go ballistic if Irvin is removed. He loves him.

A woman is accusing him of sexual harassment. Probably done with the score.

He put his arm around the waist of a makeup artist. She told him not to do that. He removed his arm.

Parkins: "Michael Irvin is not a sympathetic figure in this story and there is a good chance he may never appear on our show again."

Julie's just mad that no human being will ever be able to put their hand around her waist.

Putting your arm around a woman is - at worst - arrogant. But we are supposed to put that in the same category as Harvey Weinstein.
