First there was the North Era. Then there was the Bernstein Era. I think we have all witnessed the shift to the Parkins Era.

I don't exactly know what it means in terms of the station's character but I have to think it is a move in the correct direction for listeners and fans of the golden era of the station.

Parkins seems to blend in both Mac and Bernstein types of talk.

He can do the social issues in sports but doesn't beat you to death with it, and he's a gambling freak.
