1. There has been no "stick to sports" edict as it's being portrayed. The marching orders, as explained to me anyway, are "have fun...do the kind of show you always have done." That always has included non-sports topics from the toy department.

2. I have been fired from sports radio jobs once. In January of 2009, ESPN fired me. We were amidst a recession and my salary was approaching two commas. With advertisers bailing amidst a bad economy, they opted for a less expensive lead bartender for the Afternoon Saloon. My exits from the Score in 2000 and in 2014 were my choice.

3. I never have blocked anybody on Twitter. A member of the board blocked me Friday. Apparently, not replying to his DM about shoulder surgery quickly enough, coupled with calling Danny by his nickname "Parko" offended his sensibilities. With skin so thin, he should get a sports radio job!
