Probably minor workplace quibbles that escalated into heavy dislike because neither person is capable of defusing a tense situation. We have those on this board all the time.

Per Mac in "Can't do it".

Granted, Mac said "hate is a strong word". He would call it a "dislike". Whatever. Same thing.

Later Mac was asked why? And he said he couldn't think of a specific incident. Which means he just doesn't want to say.

What do you think Spiegel did to Mully? Or is it just a case of two over sensitive guys.

If you were a guy who busted his ass working two jobs, waking up at 3:30 every morning and never missing a day wouldn't you dislike the guy who quit a 2 hour Sunday morning show and rarely made a five day work week?

Mac is right in that he probably doesn't hate him. He just looks at him with the disgust The Greatest Generation had for hippies.

Mully is a little Caller Bob I that can’t get along with anyone. Why do you think Hannelly is going to retire?

Probably. Media people tend to be over sensitive. Especially the big guys. Which is weird because the stereotype is the big guys are tough and can take stuff. Mully and Spiegel are like teenage girls. Same with Brad Biggs as he blocked Danny Parkins from twitter when he took a mild shot at him. The 300 + pound Chicago media guy are Pussies.

I believe I remember what happened. It was something over Mulligan's over-the-top love of European Soccer. It was real early on I think. Mac & Spiegs were chiding him over it in the same way Mac & Terry chastises Murph for wanting to shower with the '69 cubs. They also inferred that he was racist, I believe, for his loving "Anglicized Soccer" or something to that effect. There was a definite racial lampooning going on there. Mully probably did not appreciate the inference that he is a racist.

Plus Mully is a devout Catholic and probably doesn't like that Spiegel gets a new wife every other year. When you're Irish Catholic like Mully, you stay with the first wife until death due you part. Even if you realize your death is likely to come from the wife murdering you. Doesn't matter. You stay or else you can't get into heaven.

Mully can't get a coherent sentence out of his mouth. Bumbling around from 5 to 9 AM. The whole show is commercials or Mully yelling "ITS MULLY ITS HANLEY ITS THE SCORE" Or Brad Biggs

Mulli & Speigs hate each other because they hate themselves. I dislike Mulli & Speigs because they are both sensitive Caller Bobs who love the sound of their own voice. And probably like the smell of their own farts. Both are boring as fuck and I'd be ok with both off the air.
