I don't watch a lot of Cub games but Parkins spends a lot of time making excuses for Javy Baez' behavior that pisses off other players. Is Baez a dick, or are other players taking the things he does the wrong way? It seems to happen often enough that I'm guessing it's the former rather than the latter. |

Baez flips his bat when he hits a long one, pitchers glare and yell when they strike somebody out in a key situation. Love it or leave it. If Javy is going to act the way he does when he succeeds, he should do nothing but walk back to the dugout when a pitcher gets the best of him. A bat flip or a fist pump doesn't bother me at all. But if you're going to act all butthurt when a pitcher "roars" at you then you are being a dick. |
