Parkins is a guy that spends a lot of money. He lives it up. He's always talking about weekend trips, golfing and going to nice restaurants. He recently did an Italy trip and now he's going to Amsterdam. Not to mention his weed, booze and gambling habits. This Parkins spends money like a mother fucker. He doesn't have any kids and says his wife has a good job. So good for him I guess. But he doesn't seem like a guy that saves money.

But, like Bernstein, Parkins has a big trust fund waiting for him. And he factors that into his lifestyle knowing he has that cushion. That's pretty clear to me.

I went to the 'dam as in my early 20s. The red light district was kind of a secondary or tertiary attraction. I never once considered hoping into a strip club let alone plan in advance to see a live sex show.

Amsterdam sounds like one of the most depressing places on earth.

All the vice is really only for the tourists, like Navy Pier here. You find mobs of british men at bachelor parties roaming the red light district as the trip is short and inexpensive.

It seemed to me the residents avoid it and live a very happy existence.

Amsterdam is kinda cool with the canals, architecture and geography but ultimately its pretty shit. If sex tourism is your thing then you should be going to Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg--with Berlin and Hamburg having the advantage of being way more interesting and cool overall than the glorified hens/stags party destination that is Amsterdam (as for Frankfurt...well).
