McNeil and Boers together again Monday through Wednesday next week.

If Terry is half as engaged as he's been recently (on Hood's podcast and in other interviews) its gonna be good radio.

Going way back into the brain cells I think it had to do with both Mac and Terry being overweight. way back when Terry was a chain smoking moose and Mac was a chubby Zubas wearing meatball. The Dire Straits song was the theme but I don't remember if that caused the name or the reverse.

I'm setting the over-under on the number of complete sentences Terry utters today at 3.

Someone called in and said that they were the "heavy fuel" he needed to get through an afternoon.

it's a give or take for these three days. When Terry drives the show, he tends to speak in complete sentences, make sense, et al but not be...funny. When someone else drives, and Terry chimes in, you get less complete thoughts but more random funny.

I'll be tuned in with bated breath.

SENOR: People keep asking me what it's like working with Dan McNeil, and it's fine. We get along. You've been nothing but welcoming.
MAC: I think we're old. I think we're just happy to be employed.
TERRY: I'm happy not to be.
