 Mac said that to Parkins along with "Is there a white running back you didn't draft?" They also played a clip of Bernstein and McKnight's interview today with Theo in which REALLY. SMART. Connor asked Theo a question about quantifying the worth of a manager. Theo didn't understand it the first time he asked, Connor rephrased it, and Theo flatly said "No." I guess Theo didn't do the calculus on that. |

The Theo thing with Doink was great. "So what's your question?" I believe is what Theo said. |

Ask direct, simple, open-ended questions. But no, McKnight insists on using his questions as a time to “demonstrate” how smart he thinks he is and how nuanced (not) his perspective is. Bad. |

These guys need to learn how to ask questions/interview. Too often, they explain why the question is being asked, attempt to provide historical context, try to lead the guest to answer or just can't get out of their own way and stumble their way to a question that wasn't as deep as they thought it may have been. |

I recall a time a combative guest commented on how Dan's questions were too long and were difficult for the guest to follow... They promptly made fun of him not being able to follow a minute long question ask
