Thursday's Dance Card (resurrecting Chet Jr.):

1:30 Bears owner George McCaskey in studio. Topics to include Karim Hunt, Bears' stance on replay tweakage, life after mom: should we keep or should we sell?

2:00 William Petersen, Chicago actor ("Manhunter," "To Live & Die in L.A," "Fear." Also created a little show on CBS called "CSI," in which he starred as lead. Gil Grissom. Topics: the present, the Golden Era of American television. "True Detective Season 3," (he's bailing after Episode 3). What does "Producer" mean? I want everybody to hear his "bulldog with a chew toy" philosophy he has shared with me over drinks late one evening.

3:00 Brent Musberger. Yak to include early money on SB 53, his "war" against CBS (including recent story about no ads for medical marijuana), Mt. Rushmore of fucked up officiating that cost teams titles.

3:40 Dan Patrick. One or two sports questions, then on to the human condition. My true friend is among the most successful sportscasters in the last quarter century, yet peace with his work is elusive. What hole is he filling.

4:00 Dave Wannstedt. How a coach programs the off week for the Super Bowl. He has done that. His team won and his defense played brilliantly.

Acceptable start.

THANK YOU FOR THE PUSH!!!! I still have a little producer in me when challenged.

COMING SOON: John Paxson (week of trade deadline he's promised me). Boomer Essiason (likely mid next week). Brian Koppleman, creator of "Rounders" and "Billions," podcaster, Rush fan. No promises, but fingers crossed for Joel Quenneville (a former Blackhawk who's a pal, and one of Q's friends since he's been here, is working hard to convince Joel it would be therapeutic for him to jump in a limo for us and get in the studio for a half hour).

I'll be listening. Hope you can get Quenneville in the studio, that would be amazing.

Rockin'! Awesome stuff.

Get people to come in and do a shot with Q . . . if they donate $100 to the charity of their choice.

Get your buddy Alice Cooper to get AXL Rose in - even if its just a softball interview, you will be picked-up worldwide!

Q would be awesome. It would be nice to have someone (formerly) with the Hawks on after they severed their relationship with the station due to Bernstein and Jules' wild and unfounded accusations against members of the team.

are you providing george a parking pass for his honda accord that he will be driving to the studio?

ask george what he thinks of the bear raid siren and the PA announcer constantly having to yell at the fans to cheer?

Sounds like a great lineup today. Drinks with William Pederson, Q is a pal, Dan Patrick a true friend. Got a little Ed Farmer in ya with that post.

Please don't mention Parkey during this segment.

Good to see.

I wonder if John C. Reilly was ever a scorehead?

Great dance card....except you can keep Dan Patrick. to quote you, Mac, don't confuse activity with accomplishment. not ripping your line up..it is a good one. Just keepin' it real.

This is a great guest list for the late 1990's.

I was gonna say--this is like a Heavy Fuel Crew reunion minus Boers.

That's OK, the average Score listener is like 70 anyway, so they probably won't remember that they heard these same interviews with Patrick and Peterson 25 years ago.

No...the HFC would know that no one gives a flying fuck about Dan Patrick.

By the way, as a show of friendship to our good fellow, Macley McMackerton, and as a belt of gratitude for his attention to our concerns, I pledge to keep WSCR on throughout the entire workday again - just like I used to.

It was reflexive, I was preparing for you to shit all over Q. I forgot you liked him. I'm sorry, you didn't deserve it for that one.

Mac, everyone at the station would have to call you "Maxington Steele" if you got Robert Plant or Jimmy Page to phone in.

Go for it.

Btw Mac, your take the other day that Tony Romo doesn't give enough love to the "Front 7" players was one of the dumbest sports thoughts ever.

I was hoping you'd ask George if he had his mom in the 2019 death pool.

Also William Peterson better have a good reason to be quitting True Detective.

I will say To Live and Die in LA is an underrated gem

Bill Peterson and I once stood next to each other at a not overly crowded bar on Webster called The Local Option. I was watching some football game and he struck up a conversation with me while waiting for his drink. He got his drink, left and we have never spoken again.

Ask him if he remembers that moment as well.

Damn I missed the McCaskey interview.
I hope Q gives plenty of lead time when he agrees to come on so it is properly promoted.
