So today Parkins and Shep were talking about MJ coming back in 95 and the Bulls losing to the Magic. This segways to a discussion of Shep hating Lil Penny, Deion Sanders, Allen Iverson, and Shaq. Parkins asks Shep to explain his reasoning, but he kind of flounders explaining. All while saying he likes Javy Baez and Ken Griffey Jr. Riveting radio

loved penny and shaq, hated deion even though I recognize his greatness (although he had a gaping hole in his game as a run defender/tackler) and I grew to enjoy Iverson

Because the guys you liked were great, electric ballplayers and Deion was a jackass who reveled in pissing people off. It was common for many sports fans to feel the same.

And fwiw, it was always "safe" for sheltered guys like Shep to like (fit the mold) baseball players. :wink:

Nick "I pee sitting down" Shepknowski really was a shit show yesterday. He also claimed that new Bears (prospective kicker) was getting a ten yard running start on that 81 yard field goal...if you watch the video you will clearly see it's inside 5 yards.

When I was still big in the NBA I had similar feelings to Dolphin that evolved over time. Example hate Shaq Orlando but Love Shaq Laker.

He's gets a 10 yd run but the guy is just warming up/fucking around to see how far he can kick but when he gets a snapper and holder, he gets the traditional 5 yd run up and kicks it straight and true.
