As it pertains to the McNeil and Parkins show?

I usually listen between 3 and 4 since I’m in the car, depending on the topic. I’ll scan the podcast descriptions for each hour and if it contains an interesting guest I’ll listen.

If someone is filling in for Mac I’m much more likely to engage with the show via podcast.

Just curious. I get the sense those that frequent this board don’t give much of a shit about Mac and Parko

Do you listen to other shows on 670. Or is it all a Zero

I listen to podcasts only since I refuse to listen to commercials. McNeil and Parkins is the only show on the Score I listen to. It would be nice if they uploaded their podcasts faster. Often times the podcasts are not ready the following morning after a show.

6-9 Mully and Haugh
9-12 LeBatard
12-2 Podcasts
2-varies Mac and Parkins

Yeah their show always has a lag it seems. M&H gets posted immediately after each hour is done. Wish it was the other way around

I get them on ITunes about an hour after their show ends.

I've been listening more and more lately, my local station went all network and runs Screamin' A from 12-2CST, so I've been switching to the Score or "Nineties at Noon" on local FM. At 2CST local goes to DP Show, but if Mac/Parkins sounds interesting I'll just stay, like a Bears' Monday on a Tuesday.

I listen on the way home from work. It would be better for me if they extended Sir and then changed Dan2 shift to 3-7.

Avoid Parkins and Speigel like the plague.

i used to be a pretty dedicated listener back in the day, and over the years my commute disappeared and I still listened in the office a bit and whenever I got in the car but as the years go by I find myself less and less interested in the current state of sports radio, regardless of the host. No matter who the guests are or the experts they have on, the info they give is typically not as good as what I can find online myself, and some of these new hosts just turn me off. It all used to be a lot more fun. It just feels antiquated and I find myself listening to Spotify a lot more. I hardly ever listen to any sports radio anymore and never specifically tune in to any of the current shows. A couple of these younger Score guys (cant specify who they are, many of them sound the same to me) are trying so hard to be edgy and smart, it is just awful radio. I am pretty sure Shepkowsi is the worst of these guys, he is unlistenably bad.

I mostly listen to the podcasts for interviews with guests. Parkins and Mac have bad chemistry, so I typically avoid their conversations if a third party isn't involved to diffuse the awkwardness.

When I lived in Illinois, I usually listened from 5:15-6 on my drive home. In the winter I'd leave earlier so maybe 4:45-6.

Now that I live out of the market, I will occasionally listen to the first hour of the podcast if Mac is working. Maybe 3-4x/month.

Only show I listen to on the Score is this shows first two hours after a Bears game. That is it.

Chicago radio is equally bad across the board. National sports radio much better IMO.

I listen to every show on the Score from around 5am until around 7pm most weekdays during the football season. I'll check out Hood after 7 a few days a week.

BOOM. This man wins a prize,

You e summed up my thoughts about M/P perfectly. At the shows inception I would have bet they would have developed better chemistry. But...it’s...just...not...there. And selfishly it pisses me off because I’m in the car at that time.

I think both Mac and Adult Danny have a role one the station but it’s not together.

Parkins & Spiegs..make it happen Jimmy

Transition with LoHo and their opening segment. By end of which, I've had enough of Parkins promoting all things Andy Reid.

Bears related stuff on the podcast. Mac is the only guy left on the station that is able to pull decent content out of Hub. Mac is still able to bring the goods when the topic/guest interests him, but Parkins bogs down interviews with long winded "Thnking fans station" type questions. Can't help but think Mac would put out a far superior product if paired with someone else. As for Parkins, he could do a three man booth with McKnight and Bernstein. They could wax poetically about how none of them could lift the sledgehammer at the local Home Depot while filling segments with Sabermetrics chat. It would be light years away from the original score concept, but would likely be the type of show those three want to do.

I'm pretty much the same, except I'll drop out at 6pm. Also listen with my ears.

I've turned 670 off when Bernsy was telling people to doxx that guy that threw out the OK sign at the Cubs game. I have quit sports radio, not that far after. It really is all turning into the View.

It feels like Twitter has replaced the sports radio call in show. I listen to an hour of M and H and and an hour of Kap man but that's about it. Too much SJW bull crap is poisoning radio like everything else these days.

Really? What are some recent examples of this on 670?

It's kind of crazy how much the station misses Terry Boers.
