Caught a bit of the show today, early on and then again in the 5:00 hour. Credit to Parkins, he was running a listenable bears Monday show both times I tuned in.

Which leads me to the segment with Olin...he said something to the effect of, ‘the offense needs to get together, realize they have a top defense and find a way to be better’ (or something to that effect). I missed the lead-in, so maybe whatever he said before that washed away the irony...but otherwise, WYC?

can you imagine the last 3 years you have been trying 'to be better' and then you get this guy saying 'hey you need to wake up and realize you need to be better'

Nitpicking I know...but the way Olin pronounces “frustrating” as “fuss-trating” is...well...FRUSTRATING

He’s probably a libarry and Valentimes guy too

At one point Olin said to Parkins “if only the Chicago Bears protected the quarterback like you protect Nagy.”

I think Parkins may have slightly laughed but moved on without acknowledging it either way. I busted out laughing, for Olin to say that to such an over the top Nagy apologist was priceless.

Parkins actually asked if the offensive line has anything to do with the run game? Do not expect a high level of football acumen from him, but must be though for a former player to take a guy that knows so little about the game seriously, especially Olin who is one of the few guys that will give you an honest take on the piss poor play you see game in and game out from the Bears.
