Holmes said “that’s a really weird place for you to jump off the conversation”? And Harrington said “well I’ve been listening to you talk about it, and I wanna interact with you.” Holmes exact response: “cmon fam...” |

Beware, from what I remember about Harrison he enjoys the woke bit more than Parkins. He may be a woke artist wearing a rational person's clothing for this tryout. |

Holmes said the White Sox better not call him about season tickets anytime soon. I guess he will meet that ticket agent in the hallway. |

Hearing some definite pushback nationally on the current state of baseball, and fully expect corrections will be made based on the tanking ratings. The current homerun or nothing approach makes the game a tedious watch and offends the long time fans that grew up playing and watching the game. When you have one bat flip homerun, but the majority of the 27 outs are strikeouts or weak grounders to short the one bat flip is not really enough to make you want to keep watching. You had to figure some team was gonna bring back and old school guy to see if he can get a team to play a more team oriented approach while bringing some sanity into bullpen management. |

Removing the shift will remove the home run or nothing approach. It is the only way. |

Holmes bitches about steroids under TLR. Then whines the Sox did not interview the manager of a major cheating scandal. |

Right. If there’s one critique I wouldn’t bring up in 2020, it’s steroids. That shit was rampant. |

Didn't hear him. Had never heard of him. My first thought. If he's speaking freely on social issues with no fear of getting fired, he's not white. I, of course, was right. |

Jbi11s wrote: Removing the shift will remove the home run or nothing approach. It is the only way. Just remove the idea that the only way to beat the shift is to hit the ball over it. It cracks me up that it's somehow easier to hit the ball up in the air than to bunt. And please don't tell that bunting is indeed hard when I see professionals who can't even master a simple pop up slide. They can't take an extra base on a bad throw because they are laying in the dirt after an awkward twisted knee fall into the base. |

Score employees need to tread lightly on the steroids issue given their symbiotic relationship with their partner. Oh, wait, Kerry Wood broke Sammy's boom box, so he has been exorcised from the Cubs |
