What does the "big voice guy" say at the very beginning of the Parkins show opening? (Pardon if this has been previously addressed.)

It sounds like "Okay, russ for thee Score in Chicago", which obviously makes no sense.

For some reason, the auditory portion of my brain isn't deciphering it. Anybody who's ever misunderstood a song lyric - to humorous results - can probably relate.

It's referencing Russ Matera, the Score's voice over guy. That's about all I know.

I never figured out what’s at the end of Laurence. High pitched black guy voice says something and then I’m outta here.

Russ Matera did voice work for multiple stations around the country, so he was probably tagging a series of following reads that would then be clipped by producers. They are just playing the bookmark of sorts, for some reason, hopefully to honor the BVG.

I think the guy at the end of LOHO's show says "Peace out", but I, too, suffer from poor hearing and inability to clearly decipher some stuff. I love the subtitles on the TV when I am listening on my earbuds- fills in the blanks I have.

As with most of the open/close stuff, you kinda had to be there to get the joke, and some of them are so far in the past that MANY in the audience don't know the context. Like good dolphin, (or good, dolphin) literally and figuratively.

Yeah I got the peace out. Wasn’t sure of context or from a movie or something.

The "peace out" drop is from Chris Tucker in Friday.

Russ Mitera started at the Score two weeks after I did as a part time commercial production assistant.

Nice guy that was very professional too.
