He’s kind of perfect for a national audience, in that he has nothing interesting to say but says it in an above average voice.

I actually caught some national CBS radio over the weekend and it reminded me that Danny did it for a while and Larry does it now. It's mostly all young guys. I bet CBS comes to them with the whole "you can be the next big thing" speech while they pay them peanuts.

Yeah, he basically said the powers above Mitch would not let him do that and also host on WSCR.
