Word out this morning Harbaugh wants some protection in his contract from the athletic director at Michigan if he stays. If the hammer comes down from the NCAA he wants it to go to a 3 person panel instead of the AD at Michigan making the decision. Michigan offer is about 11million/year |

his source is likely Hub. Hub said all the way back in November that Harbaugh was going to the Chargers. He was on the Wake and Bake show |

Considering Ron Rivy-Air-A was one of the few defensive guys that couldn't figure out how to stop Justin Fields, I would be tepid about brining him in as a DC. |

I know we weren't even in consideration but this is embarrassing for the Bears. The stars aligned to have a great coach with Bears ties available just as the team is transition into something. He's young enough to have directed them for a decade. We decided we are good with a guy who is 10-24. Didn't even make inquiries. I was hoping he'd go to a team where he could make JJ Mc Carthy the 4th QB drafted before the Bears. |

Hub can take a victory lap. I do wonder if he's got health issues or if the Score doesn't want to pay his tab very many times anymore. Harbaugh CLEARLY wanted to go to the Chargers if Hub had this all the way back then. The Bears never had a shot. |
