Turned on the Score and Parkins and Spiegel were on during the first round of the draft. Quite ridiculous.

People gave Les shit for being forever 13 but Spiegs and Parkins take it to a whole new level. They develop man crushes on certain players. It's just weird when you hit a certain age.

Spiegel looks like he's packing on the lbs again.

He uses superlatives for the most mundane people and events. Everything is that jazzbo, singey voice like he is a greek chorus to the life of the people he "covers". It's particularly noticeable with his weekend baseball shows but it has bled into weekday coverage. He uses that low, wistful tone, like a drunk trying to talk a girl into making a bad mistake at closing time.

It's ok to be evenhanded in your coverage. Caleb Williams has flaws that are worth mentioning. There are arguments to be made that Poles should have gone defense at #9 with the wealth of WR throughout the draft. We are adults. Give us more than love.
