Thought we might provide some creative energy for show openings or closings. My ideas (so far): -Locomotive Breath -Blue Sky -Willin' -Can't you hear me knockin' (just kidding) My only rationale is that these are songs I enjoy listening to in the car. Others? Thoughts? Mac? |

Before I name mine, I will admit that it's not the longest intro. However, it starts with a bang and with the marvels of technology, the sound man could cut it up to make it longer by using the solo or by repeating the intro itself: "Bulls on Parade" by Rage Against the Machine. You could even keep the opening "Come with it now!" as a welcoming to the show. |

May seem too obvious, but since it's called "The Afternoon Saloon" how about "One Bourban, One Shot & One Beer" by G. Thorogood? May have to get this passed by the mouse first. |

I think we are coming up with songs for Mac's new show Jeff...quit living in the past. Killing in the Name by rage would be sweet...lots of bleeps though. |

[quote="doug - evergreen park"]I think we are coming up with songs for Mac's new show Jeff...quit living in the past. [quote] Reading is a skill that I sometimes don't possess. So maybe I choose to be a coward and a loser. Mac's open: EJ's "Bitch is back" ...of course that would only work for about a week. Close: He can use what I use for my WIIT show....The Doors "Soul Kitchen". The last verse is: "Well the clock says it's time to close now. I really want to stay here all night...all night...ALL NIGHT!!!!" Does anyone in real radio ever use that track? |

Bulls on Parade's intro is about 40 seconds. More than adequate, though having a sound man extraordinaire polish it up wouldn't hurt, either, if it needed to be longer. And really, who doesn't need for it to be polished up or longer... |

In keeping with the RATM suggestions, I think "Calm Like A Bomb" is fitting for Mac. In retrospect, Slipknot's "Everything Ends" would have been appropriate for the last MJH show. |
