If you live Southwest and you're not going to the White Sox' lidlifter Monday... I'll be hosting a tailgate for Budweiser at Heroes & Legends in Joliet. Should be a hoot... with some fun Bud prizes... and a room full of Sox enthusiasts. C'mon out if you're looking for something to do.

Maybe he was still working on the public transit schedule before posting.
And yes the bus goes right by there.

I'll be there by the 100 start even if it is to honor the moment of silence for the Empress roulette wheels. Thank you.

Good times. 8)

For the Record, H&L is now called Heroes West (since they relocated).

No can do, gotta work. It pisses me off that the Sox home opener is on Comcast though. Usually the Home openers for both clubs are on WGN.

No, it's not a leftover, Killer V. I was in there a month or so ago having lunch with Slapdick Ed and Joe the owner asked if I'd do it. Budweiser and I enjoy a good relationship and they're sponsoring the party.

Chris in Joliet, leave me a message at my Valpo house.;-) C ya there.

Opening day is a holiday in my world. I take the day off and sit my ass on the couch and watch baseball all day. It's a tradition I don't like breaking but if you're going to hang around for a bit after the game I could make my way over for a beer or two.

Spaulding you show up at 11 and Ill buy you and the hubby a beer. I figure I owe you after some asshole comments awhile back. Look for me, Ill be the jack ass in a cubs sweatshirt(by himself) watching the sox play.

The hubby has to stay home and watch the kids. You owe me nothing. You apologized and that apology was accepted.

If I go I'll probably be alone too. How do I tell you apart from all the other jackasses in Cubs sweatshirts?

Chris, making an asshole comment? That's hard to believe.
I find him to be a very thoughtful fellow. One that thinks a great deal about what he writes before he hits the submit button.
No knee-jerk posts from him, no, no, no...

Steve Stone's wife is going to be hanging out with you?

I'd love to go but I gotta feed the kids Chicago! If it was in the Loop or north side, I'd stop by.

The Monday forecast is looking like 36 degrees and snow showers.

Sounds like a Sox home opener to me!

Marlboro lights will be considered a heat source.
