I guess Boers seemed a little miffed with Matt today during and after transition as Boers came out during his show and said he has had it with Transition and the comments that Pants had said that Terry lacked passion in what he does couldn't of been more spot on !!. I think Matt has an Edgyness that the older guys find annoying but keep it going MATT . Terry at any chance he can rips Murph for being a tool but GOD forbid you call Terry out and then he wants to take his ball and go him . Well, fuck him I say !! Terry has been the Scores bully for some 15 years and I love the fact a new kid with an Edge and no fear takes on the big bully and not only pisses him off but wants no part of being a team player. Terry just go away and let a guy with a pulse take you're spot and move on. Talk about a guy stealing a paycheck for some 15 years , he should be MADOFF'S CELL MATE for the larceny all these years . Way to go Matt you're slowly becoming a voice of reason at the Score and I like it !! |

Caught it as well and heard the ire in Boers voice. Pants tells it like it is and the funny thing is Pants could care less if Terry is pissed or not. Mac is a fence mender and Im all for ditching transition anyway so Terry can take his ball and go home Sock as I can care less anyway . |

Keep in mind that Terry isn't in the studio so it's not a face to face exchange, which makes it less confrontational. |

Terry is one verry funny guy. His voice is fading though underneath the "Bernstein Pillow"! If teamed up with his own "Dick Grayson" like Danny Mac,he again would be great. |

That's why I said I'm looking for an original thought. I'm trying to challenge him to use his brain. |

I thought today's transition was stellar because of the aggro. |

Transition was best when it had a little edge to it. If all it is ever going to be is a 15 minute suck each other fest, keep it. Bring the raw and real emotions and have at it. Nothing wrong with a little edginess. Maybe it will get Boers back on his game. When Boers is on his game, there are few as compelling and driven. I think Terry is too damn comfortable right now. |

I must admit that I did not know that Boers is not in the studio. Why is this ? Where does he broadcast from ? Pappyland ? |

My best guess is because he's an old man who lives pretty far from downtown and just doesn't like to commute all the time. I'm sure he has provisions written into his contract that allow him to do a certain number of shows from home. |

I have still yet to hear a good reason why Terry working from home means anything at all. |

RFDC wrote: I have still yet to hear a good reason why Terry working from home means anything at all. Yeah, it really shouldn't mean anything. 1). His employers are fine with it. 2). Radio is free to listen to, so it's not like it's a, "we listeners are paying too much money for Terry not to drag himself in to work" situation. Listeners aren't paying Terry's salary, so I say fuck their opinion. |

RFDC wrote: I have still yet to hear a good reason why Terry working from home means anything at all. Ok...here's a good reason for you. The B&B show was much better back when Terry actually broadcast from the WSCR studio. I think him working from home effects the on air chemistry...and I think it has helped contribute to his lazyness and has made him more disconnected from the sports industry. He isnt in the studio for interviews & he isnt downtown so he doesnt go to sporting events. Now, Terry watches from his recliner...although I question if he even watches games on TV. After all, he has his peeps to keep him "informed". |

I've never really given a rat's ass where Boers broadcasts from. I think Terry HAS lost his fastball, but I think that's more due to age and health than location. |

Scorehead wrote: Ok...here's a good reason for you. The B&B show was much better back when Terry actually broadcast from the WSCR studio. I think him working from home effects the on air chemistry But that's subjective. That's your opinion and you're presenting it as fact. Others...in fact many...may feel that Terry's broadcasting location has absolutely no effect on the show's chemistry and flow whatsoever. I happen to fall in that category. Like RFDC said: present a real reason. And if you want to go with the "studio chemistry" angle, at least give a specific example. |

spmack wrote: WestmontMike wrote: spmack wrote: I love Kid Cairo with an edge. looks like he's back on the spread the negativity bandwagon He's taking after his homeboys B&B. Spreading negativity? If anything, I'm trying to oppose the baseless, unfounded, inherent negativity. Most of these guys who like to crap on stuff can't even bother to give specific examples of anything. For instance: Guys love to say Terry has "lost his fastball." Okay, well give me a specific example of "Current Terry" vs. "Old Terry." These guys can't. They just regurgitate the same anti-B&B talking points without presenting anything to back it up. I would never oppose an anti-B&B stance if there was an actual case presented. Hell, I might even agree with it as I've shown I can be just as critical of the show as anybody else. |
