After the game D. McNeil asks Mr. Perfect, "You're a guy who doesn't get too excited. You're an unflappable guy but the foul ball lined down the left field line and the catch, did your pulse get above 90 today?"

D. McNeil's voice can be heard :21 into M. Buerhle's press conference video found at: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/chi-24-white-sox-rays-chicago-jul24,0,6899904.story

D. McNeil's voice returns at the 2:51 mark. Speaking of A.J. Pierzynski talking about the perfect game, "He missed you with your first warm-up pitch in the 9th. I don't think a lot of people saw that. Do you think he's trying to work you between your ears?"

At 4:04 D. McNeil asks, "Is it overstating it Mark, to suggest a series like this against your defending league champions, ending the way it did, as dramatically... is the type of thing that can springboard a team into a completely different gear for the stretch?"

LOL AND THEN THE HILARIOUS PAY-OFF BY D. MCNEIL WHEN HE GIVES A HARRY HONKKK!!!!!!! At 5:19, L. Grobbstein asks whether it was "kind of cool" that the last left-hander to throw a perfect game was fellow St. Louis native, K. Holtzman. LOL.

Sounds like Danny Mac has been doing a little putting out to get a story...

Hey Mac, did you give, or receive?

Did Mac scoop up some of Rodgers Bossards dirt from the mound today and put it in a jar to put next to his World Series dirt? And will Mac call in sick tomorrow as he'll be too tried after the perfect game? :P :P

Like the fact a "HOST" can go and talk to an athlete, as Mac asks Spiegs to go over to Wrigley and get some sound.

Thus I don't have the Bernsie "I wish we could ask him..........."

If I swing by Trads tonight after work and see him there, I think we may have that answer.

I heard the Harry "Nhah" and texted Mac right afterwards. He thought it was funny that it was heard.

It doesn't matter what I believe, Schmitty. I was interested in hearing what Burls and his teammates believe. And most athletes do believe in momentum and aren't concerned that Boers and Bernstein don't.

Ask the 2005 White Sox if momemtum played any role in thier success at the tail end of September and thru Ocotber. Stick to B&B and the Cubs.

I believe thats true. I also believe if you check out how the White Sox did immediately after Buerhle's No-No in 2007, you will see that they struggled for a while. A no hitter carries with it such excitement, is so emotionally charged, there may be a letdown in the next several days. With a double-header today, it will be interesting to see how many blurry eyed Sox take the field in the early afternoon....

Mr and Mrs. Negative sports radio can kiss my hairy bean bag already. Boers and Bernstien could find a negative in Christ being born . Boring radio and predictable radio and you clowns who defend the show can have it. Im done with the meatballness of the callers, and Bernsteins above it all schtick..Someone wake Terry and let him know.

Means Nothing. Joseph is a meatball.
How does this get you any closer to a ressurection?

There is no statistical backing to prove your hypothesis of the Holy Trinity.

Along with Bernstein giving his opinion why it was NOT necessary for Christ to rise again on the 7th day but that also that Moses had an over rated change up and he couldn't get lefties out.

Easter Sunday does not care about December 25th. What happened December 25th doesn't affect what happened on Easter Sunday.

How can Terry talk about Christ when he doesn't even go to church any more, or read the bible?

The Magi didnt get there because of some "magical fire and passion star". They used statistical GPS analysis to find Christ.

Or that Moses was a bad manager because it took him forty years to get his team from point A to point B.

If memory serves, Christ started on short rest of 3 days. Couldn't throw His palmball though; luckily the problem with His hanging change didn't carry over.

I think you can talk about Moses' ability to part the Red Sea as a glaring factor in the middle of the field defense. You have to be strong up the middle in order to keep that from happening.

How the fuck does any of this get you closer to Mecca?

Post subject:  Re: D. McNeil at M. Buerhle Perfect Game Press Conf.

The only important question is this: how close does Christ's resurrection get you to a championship??? If it doesn't get you a championship, all is for naught, and you might as well be damned to hell for eternity.
