1st TD of 2009 pre-season: 40 yard run by the Titans rookie punter on a tricked-up fake punt. |

I'm willing to bet that Mac put in a wager on who would be the first to score tonight, but I'm sure it wasn't the punter..... |

I can't believe that there isn't any more excitement about this game, sure it's the hall of fame game, but after seeing both baseball teams get crushed today, it's really refreshing to see some actual football be played and hearing loud hits... |

Tony Dungy was on with Collinsworth and Michaels. They actually had Dungy on there for a long time. At the end of Dungy's time in the booth, they asked about the Cutler trade--something like, would you have made that trade if you had Jay Cutler? Dungy: "I don't think so." Collinsworth: "Neither do I." I guess Dungy's going to be sitting in for a bit on each Sunday Night Football telecast. |

What are you using for audio? just baby steps for me right now. it's an LCD, dynex. probably not a great brand but it was cheap and i got a warranty just in case. i haven't invested in a sound system yet, but i will eventually. |

The only thing good about this game is the cool jerseys the TItans/Oilers are wearing. |

i agree, i like the uni's. much better than those dreadful uniforms they wear as the titans. tony dungy certainly spooged all over the michael vick thing...oy. "the league has punished him enough." how many times does it have to be said that he wasn't punished by the league he was punished by the freakin' legal system! |

Since Mac talked about a wager on the game, I seen the Titans by 3, so a push, if you had the Titans, the punter helps you in the first quarter, then hurts at the end of the game. If you had the Bills, you probably thanking your lucky stars. |

Exclamation Moint wrote: Wasnt Dungy against the Cutler trade? Or did he just think Cutler was a prima donna. against it--from which team's POV? Tonight, he seemed to say that it was not a good move on Denver's part and a score for da Bears--provided Cutler can handle the pressure/spotlight--which the "whimper, not a bang" ending to the Urlacher-called-Cutler-a-bad-name media event suggests Cutler will be ok in that regard. ESPN = we todd ed, from the ESPN home page: "The Yankees hadn't had a four-game sweep over the Red Sox in 24 years, but after A-Rod homered in the seventh inning Sunday, the N.Y. hitters went wild and put away Boston." I guess the 5 Game sweep of the Red Sox @ Fenway the Yankees pulled off in 2006 isn't, technically, a "4 game sweep": http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=260821102 |

Saw about 2 minutes of it but I loved the old school helmets both teams were wearing. Must add that Oliers one to my collection. |

ESPN has to love that with all their Red Sox/Yankee love, that more people watched the Titans-Bills game than the Red Sox/Yankee game. |
