if you want to disrupt the opposing team's fielders, hurl batteries--D's are more fun, AA's are easier to sneak in (in a camera or portable audio device). And if you're somewhat surreptitious about it, you won't get caught.

Old Tiger Stadium, home opener 1995, Kenny Lofton playing Centerfield for the Indians got hit by so many batteries and other projectiles that by the 7th inning, he was so shallow in center that the meatheads with batteries left to throw had to stand-up and heave them like footballs--small, dark, knuckling wounded ducks landing around Lofton's feet and making him finally give it up and retreat to the dugout for the remainder of the game. Good times, good times.
