This egotistical clown is just a brutal listen that lasted about 1 minute for me. Why did they bring this know it all back? Absolutely brutal!

He's is a no bullshit dose of reality here in Hooterville.
Funny how guys who are not natives of Hooterville like Rosenbloom and Mariotti managed to stir up so much shit because they refuse to buy into the Mr. Haney rooting garbage that has been ingrained locally since the good old days of Jack Brickhouse.

He is the poor man's Mariotti. Basically,he writes with emotion to get a rise out of the reader. Should work on radio, too.

So you agree with this "no bullshit dose of reality" that the Bears will go 14-2 this year?

If so, you need to re-examine your conception of reality.

In answer to the original poster's question, Rosenbloom was "brought back" because Mitch Rosen used to be his agent. I'm sure Mitch is just trying to "take care" of his "guy"--just like he's doing with another former client, Larry Holmes.

That would explain it. Knew there had to be a reason this "journalist" gets air time. Do us a favor Mitch, hire people who add something to the station, not just hacks who fill out open time slots for holidays, vacations, etc. Give someone worthy an opportunity, not this irritating asswipe.

I don't think Danny Mac even knew Steve Rosenbloom was going to pinch hit this morning...Keep in mind it's Labor Day, and for a lot of people, it was an off day. Even though he didn't necessarily announce it after the Ranger's White Sox Radio Network postgame, the John Clayton-sounding Matt Rodewald sat in technically for "Boers & Bernstein" & the first 2 hours of what would normally be Laurence Holmes' solo show. Now, Drinky is holding court as I type this message until Midnight.
