If you're going to continue doing song parodies, it might be a good idea to put Zach on retainer. He's a talented satirist on many levels.

Mac isn't going to like this, but the real Phil Simms (the correct spelling of his name) and Jim Nantz will more than likely have the call of the Bears/Steelers' game at Soldier Field next Sunday at 3:15p on CBS2HD.

Solid stuff Phil.... I mean Zack! Next thing you know, you'll be playing Vegas like Caliendo.

Here are all your other broadcast teams for the 2009 football season (Enberg was announced with Cross, but for some reason the USA today doesn't list them as partners during Week One). And Mac's guy Don Criqui continues to broadcast another day. He's got to have naked pictures of somebody.

NBC: Cris Collinsworth, Al Michaels and Andrea Kremer

CBS:
Jim Nantz and Phil Simms
Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf
Kevin Harlan and Solomon Wilcots
Dick Enberg and Dan Fouts
Gus Johnson and Steve Tasker
Don Criqui and Randy Cross
Ian Eagle and Rich Gannon
Bill Macatee and Steve Beuerlein

Fox:
Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Pam Oliver
Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston and Tony Siragusa
Sam Rosen, Tim Ryan and Nischelle Turner
Dick Stockton (Two dicks wow!), Charles Davis and Laura Okmin
Ron Pitts, John Lynch and Rob Desir
Thom Brennaman, Brian Billick and Charissa Thompson
Chris Myers and Trent Green

NFL Network (Thursdays starting on November 12th):
Matt Millen and Bob Papa

ESPN:
Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski, Jon Gruden and (reduced roles for) Suzy Kolber and Michele Tafoya
and (Week One only): Mike Golic, Mike Greenberg and Steve Young (WHAT - No Mike Ditka grabbing his mini-Ditka?!?!??!?)

Watch out Grid, SHARK had this posted about two weeks ago. He is going to be a little agitated.

Watch out Grid, SHARK had this posted about two weeks ago. He is going to be a little agitated.

SHARK had the NFL broadcast teams in the National Media section for both FOX Sports & CBS Sports about 2 weeks ago. The only thing I omitted was whether or not FOX was still going to have sideline reporters like Laura Okmin, Nischelle Turner & Charissa Thompson. By the way, even Chris Myers & Trent Green had a sideline reporter Sunday for the Lions/Saints' game in New Orleans. Onetime CLTV morning sports/traffic girl Jennifer Hammond, now working in Detroit I believe for the FOX affiliate there, worked the sidelines for Game 1 at the Superdome. I have yet to get the assignments for Week 2, other than the real Simms & Nantz working the Bears/Steelers' game on CBS Sunday...Chances are, whenever the Lions are on FOX and it's not national, Hammond works their games...

Honestly Mac, I think it was BS to use the Phil Simms bit and not give the actor/writer his credits. It comes off like it's your idea/bit.
Good work as always, WZ.

I only heard the one on the 11th. Didn't credit you that I heard. So this must have been another one that you did and he credited you? Good to hear he did the right thing on the last broadcast.

No, he got douche bag ticket if this is true. (Probably time to retire the damana got .... tickat) I didn't hear the bit, but it is incredibly hacky to not credit the author of said bit, each and every time.

I listened to the show on Friday and despite being in football season, nothing seems to have changed.

Previous complaints about the show:

Over the top fake laughter= Present as of 9/18
Inability to listen to each other= Present as of 9/18
Inexplicable yelling and screaming= Present as of 9/18

I heard Mac say, "outstading, Wheaton Zack," after they played his bit on Friday. I only heard the podcast the first time they played Simms.
